Certified Service Chuckwagon Contest (“CONTEST”)
Official Rules and Regulations (“Rules”)
This Contest is held by participating Certified Service dealers (as listed in paragraph 2.1 below; collectively, the “Sponsors”). The Contest runs from May 15, 2025 at 9:00:01 a.m. (MT) to June 30, 2025 at 6:59:59 p.m. (MT) (the “Contest Period”).
Eligibility
1. Residents of Alberta who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry may enter this Contest. Despite the foregoing, employees, representatives, agents and/or retirees of (and their respective immediate family members) the Sponsors, General Motors of Canada Corporation (“GM Canada”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and dealers, advertising and/or promotional agencies, suppliers of materials or services related to this Contest are not eligible to enter this Contest. “Immediate family” is defined as parents, siblings, children, spouse or partner or anyone with whom any of the above are domiciled.
To Enter
2. No purchase necessary to enter. Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. If it is discovered that a participant has attempted to submit more than one (1) entry (regardless of the method of entry), all entry submissions (other than the first) will be disqualified (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion). There are three (3) ways to enter the Contest:
2.1 During the Contest Period, make an online booking for a service appointment with any one of the participating Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Certified Service dealers listed below. On completion of the online booking, the customer will be sent (to the email provided in connection with online booking) a link to the Contest entry form. If you don’t receive an email within 3 days (excluding statutory holidays and Sundays), reach out to west.certifiedservice@gm.com. By submitting a completed online entry form (which must include the entrant’s full name, complete address, daytime telephone number and email address, confirmation that the entrant complies with these Rules and a correct answer to a skill-testing question, and will require the entrant to select the participating Certified Service dealer in whose draw the entrant wishes to be entered) during the Contest Period, customers will receive one (1) entry into the Contest. Note that while the online booking must be made during the Contest Period, the service appointment may be completed either during or after the Contest Period. 2.2 During the Contest Period, visit one of the participating Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Certified Service dealers listed in paragraph 2.1 above to obtain the URL for the link to the Contest entry form. Complete and submit the online entry form (which must include the information as set out in paragraph 2.1 above) during the Contest Period to obtain one (1) entry into the Contest.
2.3 During the Contest Period, visit the website of any of the participating Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Certified Service dealers listed in paragraph 2.1 above and click on the link to the Contest entry landing page and the Contest entry form. Complete and submit the online entry form (which must include the information as set out in paragraph 2.1 above) during the Contest Period to obtain one (1) entry into the Contest.
Submitted entry forms received in accordance with these Rules during the Contest Period (as determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) will receive one (1) entry.
Prizes
3. There are fourteen (14) prizes (each a “Prize”) available to be won, each consisting of two (2) tickets to a chuck wagon/evening show at the 2025 Calgary Stampede. The date for which the tickets will be valid may vary for each Sponsor and will be as determined by each such Sponsor in their sole discretion. Entry included with each ticket. Approximate retail value of each prize (which may vary by Sponsor depending on the date and location of the tickets, as determined in the applicable Sponsor's sole discretion): $60 - $150. One (1) Prize will be awarded by each of the Sponsors.
Upon being declared a winner (see paragraph 5 below), the Prize will be emailed to the winner (at the email address as it appears on their completed release form).
Any costs or expenses incurred by the winners in claiming or using a Prize will be the responsibility of the winners. Prizes must be accepted as described in these Rules and cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, except that the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to substitute the Prize, in whole or in part, for another prize of equal or greater value including without limitation a cash prize. Any difference between the actual retail value and the maximum retail value limits stated above will not be awarded.
Prize Draw
4. Random draws (the "Draws") will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 at approximately 11 AM MST to select the potential Prize winners. A separate Draw will be held for each Sponsor from the pool of valid entries for which each Sponsor was selected on the entry forms. The odds of being selected as the potential winner in a Draw will depend on the total number of valid entries received for the applicable Sponsor during the Entry Period.
General Conditions
5. To be declared a winner and claim a Prize, each potential Prize winner must:
a) Be reached by telephone and/or email within one (1) day of the Draw.
b) Correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question (as set out on the entry submission form).
c) Be eligible according to these Rules and sign a Declaration and Release form that will be sent by e-mail and return it, duly completed to the Sponsors (or their designee) within one (1) day of its receipt. The Declaration and Release (among other things): (a) confirms compliance with these Rules; (b) acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded; and (c) releases Sponsors, GM Canada, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and/or dealers, advertising and/or promotional agencies, suppliers of materials or services related to this Contest, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, the entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Prize.
d) If an eligible winner (a) cannot be reached by telephone or email within one (1) day of the applicable Draw; (b) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question (see paragraph 5.b); (c) fails to return the properly executed Declaration and Release within the specified time (see paragraph 5.c), or (d) otherwise fails to comply with these Rules, then they will be disqualified and the Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to conduct a random draw to select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries for the applicable Sponsor. In any event, all winners must be declared no later than Friday, July 11, 2025; any Prizes not awarded by such time will be void and will not be awarded. The Sponsors will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant. The Prizes will only be awarded to the person whose full name, telephone number, address and valid email address appears on the applicable entry form that was submitted.
6. If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the Contest or for any reason, there are more potential winners of the Prizes than contemplated in these Rules, the Sponsors may, at their sole discretion, conduct a random draw from all such Prize claimants (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion) after the Contest closing date to award the Prizes or may terminate or amend the Contest in whole or in part without notification to Contest entrants.
7. By entering this Contest and without limiting the terms of the Declaration and Release, the winners authorize the Sponsors and their representatives to use in any related publicity, if required, their name, photograph, image, any statements they may make regarding the Prize, the Contest and/or the Sponsors, place of residence and/or voice for advertising purposes worldwide in perpetuity and in any form of media including the Internet, without any form of compensation, or further notice, except where prohibited by law.
8. Contest entry forms submitted become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned to entrants at any time. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants, except with the entrants selected to win the Prize.
9. Entries are subject to verification by the Sponsors. The Released Parties will not be liable for (i) any failure of any website during the Contest Period; (ii) any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; (iii) late, lost, delayed, not received, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or fraudulent entry forms (all of which shall be automatically void and not eligible for a Prize); (iv) the failure of any entry to be received for any reason Including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or mobile network; (v) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the Contest or breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers”; and/or (vi) any combination of the above.
10. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion to withdraw, suspend or amend this Contest in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsors that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website associated with the Contest or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion to cancel, amend or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason.
11. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
12. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in these Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant or entry with these Rules, or as a result of technical problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsors, in their sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Rules.
13. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to website, print and/or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
14. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relative to this Contest.
15. GM Canada and the Sponsors respect entrants’ right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsors and GM Canada to administer the Contest and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, for the applicable purpose(s) identified on the entry form. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in GM Canada’s privacy policy, which is available at http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/corporate/about/privacy/overview.

The personal information that you have provided or will provide will be protected and will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at www.gm.ca/privacy. Meeting safety, security, legal and regulatory requirements;
